My NC parents came up on the 24th, which is also my mom’s birthday. her gift was a soft silk and merino hat i spun and then knit. i made a blackberry wine cake…which takes hours to soak up the wine glaze . we had a buffet dinner, … and walked by her presents about three times. and sweet little girl that she is, she did not think all the gifts …
